Gifted and Talented Program
GCISD Advanced Academics is now accepting referrals for Gifted and Talented Program Services for grades 1-4. Please access the application for GT LEAD and/or ASPIRE Academy for the Highly Gifted in each campus office or on the Advanced Academics page: Please Click on the Blue Badge Applications must be returned no later than February 26 to your campus office or GT Specialist.
Testing will take place during the month of March. Results will be mailed home in early April.

Fence Engineering
We ended our House Hunters project with some pretty incredible fences. Scholars mixed concrete and set fence posts. They used a variety of materials to make models of chain link fences, wooden privacy fences, barbed wire fences and even some split rail fences. All fences were engineered to fit the needs of their family. Some groups even had time to build a house for their property. Come see these fences in person at our Open House in March.
